Knee pain and gastrointestinal reflux: “I recently had a total knee replacement and suffered with gastrointestinal reflux for many years. Under her care with both needles and herbs, I am happy to report that my reflux has disappeared, and I no longer take the herbs. Constipation: “Hi Weiwei, I am Tia’s very happy mother! I appreciate what you have done for me! Over thirty years of constipation and after trying countless remedies from high fiber diet, magnesium, prunes, beets, Vit C powder, many practitioners with many herbs, fibers, probiotics, prebiotics , cleanses, colonics, chiropractors, all of no avail. The only thing left to try was the prescribed medication from my doctor. The possible side effects were not worth the risk so I was feeling discouraged. I was hesitant to try one more thing, but my daughter spoke so highly of you. With a cabinet full of expensive jars and bottles of products, I stepped out and ordered the herbs that you formulated just for me. This was my last ditch effort before having to live on prescription medication. It worked!!!! I don’t know how to describe how wonderful it is to feel like a normal human being! My digestion has never been so good. I can eat things that I wouldn’t dare touch like cheese, bread, and I even tried a little meat and I cannot believe the transit time! 24 hours! Most days I am going 1-3 times in the morning for a complete evacuation. Wow! It’s been 21/2 weeks and I never felt better! I returned to Weiwei with a new ailment today. She had sucessfully treated my pain in the past and she quickly diagnosed my painful shoulder as an impingment from poor posture. I was given a massage, acupuncture with electrical stimulation, heat therapy and neck traction. In addition, she taught me a couple of exercises to do with resistance bands to help correct my rounded shoulders. I left her office feeling fabulous, relieved that my pain wasnt a rotator cuff tear and confident that the regimen and future visits will cure my problem.

It is with great pleasure I write this review for Dr. Guan, who is treating my leg DVT. Modern medicine or conventional medicine has no solutions for permanently addressing a DVT. Their solutions are take blood thinners and wear a compression stocking. I drive 2 hours ONE WAY 3 times per week to see this very kind, very gentle and very compassionate medical professional, Dr. Weiwei Guan. Dr. Guan made me no promises. Dr. Guan stated she would try to help with the DVT. I am making excellent progress under her medical care and expertise. My previous Acupuncturist of 20 years was Dr. Robert Chin, who passed in 2016. I thought it impossible to find a Doctor of Acupuncture as knowledgeable and with the expertise of Dr. Chin. Dr. Guan’s family ancestors started this particular school of Acupuncture. Her father began teaching her Acupuncture as a child and always held Dr. Guan to a higher standard than any other student. If you are considering acupuncture, there is no one better. I highly recommend Dr. Guan for consultation and treatment to determine if she can help you.

I have been going to Dr. Guan for my back and sciatic nerve. I was also told that I have neuropathy in my right foot. I have tried everything that I know to try. I am so glad I found this clinic. I have had so much pain and lack of mobility that chiropractic care was no longer helping. I have had 3 treatments full acupuncture and neck traction and I can already tell the difference. My pain level and numbness in limbs have improved and my neck feels better and has more mobility. A few weeks ago, I asked Dr Guan to treat my right thumb. I had had a bone removed in 2007 for osteoarthritis. The surgery was initially successful but in recent years had required steroid shots. When they also stopped helping I turned to Dr Guan for acupuncture and skilled manipulation. This weekend I could use hand cutters to trim bushes for the first time in years! Thanks to Dr Guan, 90 percent of my pain is gone, and we are not yet finished!

Dr Guan is both knowledgeable and compassionate! After spending a month trying massage and chiropractic care for sciatic nerve pain, I made an appointment with Dr Guan. She was the only one to realize my pain was coming from a back problem and treat me for that. After 5 acupuncture appointments, I am pain free 90% of the time. She works on things from the PT side of things also in order to heal the original problem.

Dr. Guan gets to the root of whatever health issue a patient is facing. For me, it was a serious case of lock jaw. I was dealing with pain and an inability to open my mouth properly to eat.
